Ma'am Vera Cruz,
Throughout life, people are always influenced in some way by others. This influenced is what causes individuals to grow mentally. It has been no different for me. I have met a wide variety of people in my life and have learned from each of them. The one person that sticks out in mind as having had the most influence on me, however, is you.
One reason why I took such a strong liking on you is that you had recently taught me many things starting the history and the timeline of the internet, to the HTML tags, and how to use the Adobe Photoshop that it might be a good addiction today's generation.
I was very ignorant person before about that things. I needed something to fill the emptiness I was feeling. You were there for me. You had a way of making me feel good about myself, who I was and what I did; feel good on every hard topics each time we met in the class. The little talks that you had with us really touched on something that needed to hear. I remember one day you told us that we should not be overly concerned when people ridicule us. You said that the important thing is that we like who we are. You restored some confidence in me that I had thought I had lost for good.
One of your better qualities was you ability to make us understand the topic, even, sometimes misunderstanding occur. You work with all of us to make us better students, never leaving anyone out. You would make sure that anyone answered a question or anyone added some thing to the class each day. You would go around the computer room and ask each student a question on how he/she felt about something specially when we are on hands-on.
You showed that you really did care if we learned. You would always stress doing more than just an average job, that we would not get very far if we were not willing to put forth that extra effort.
Throughout the year you remained agreat teacher, always fair. You could not stand students lazy ( which I was before I had you)
At the end of the year, we are all anxious to see what grades were. Remember the time we got struggle and misunderstanding about the grades specially in 2nd grading?
Before I had you as a teacher, i was just an average student. then, I started applying what you were teaching us to all of my classes. I tarted trying harder to do the best that O could, and my grades improve significantly.
I have looked at the time as a turning point in my life. I credit most of those changes to you and your indispensable advice. Without your constant encouragement, I am sure that I would still be just getting by. Many years from now I still look back on my high school life and reflect on the timeless lessons that you were generous enough to share with me.
Im looking forward to graduating this year and moving on to college. Along with this letter through blogging, I will finally get the chance to thank you in person for giving me the desire to do the best I can. Thank You Ma'am.
-special thanks to Mr. David Kemper for some points in this letter.
