REFLECTION for 3rd Grading

3rd Grading Period. Challenging, colourful, meaningful and successful grading.
This grading, it helped my mind in knowing more about HTML Tags, on how to put background colour, font, its size, the picture, link and everything related to this topic.
Try to know more about yourself
I scan myself for a while and found out that I should be more active for the next grading, but there is a mixture of emotions in my heart.  Happy and sad in the fact that day are counted.
Happy in the sense that I will graduate for my high school life and thanks to my teachers and classmates who give support, love, understanding, care and their effort to me.
Sad in the sense that I will miss the happiness, sadness and awards and success we gained with my classmates. I will miss also the school and the experiences which made myself better and to face those different kind of problems. However, I’m not in hurry for the graduation but a little tear can change everyone’s emotion and feeling.
There were no great problems this grading in my life and I thank God for His guidance. I’m hoping that next grading could be better than this 3rd grading.
Everyone, I want to say simple and little words but meaningful. Thank You! I Love You! And I will Miss you!

Keeping in Mind our Mother Tongue

ILOKANO is what people call us with our own dialects or so called mother tongue, the Iloko.
We are not indigenous like others but little by little our language and other thing will soon become extinct.
As a teenager, I realize some significant points in life especially in caring good our traditions and cultures. Ilocano’s before preserved different things, old houses, buildings, literary works and many more that proves people became more intelligent in taking good care of own materials.
Nowadays, people became more fanatic on modernization, making sense to forget those preserved materials and non-materials by our ninuno’s. Yes. We wanted progression but don’t use progression to say goodbye to dear dialect and preserved things.
What is the use of preservation if we are not willing to learn, accept and love things made before?
Our mother tongue, the iloko, serves us a communication to other people or Ilocano’s making in one our dreams, projects and works is successful one.
Be thankful that we have this dialect, be proud of. Here in our country, there were lot of dialects used by Filipinos but iloko is one of most used dialect.
Dr. Jose Rizal said:”Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay mas mabaho pa kaysa malansang isda”. It’s true. Love, acceptance and cooperation are things we must keep in mind to take our mother tongue alive ill the next generation of life. J

New Year, New Me

Forget those mistakes you made, but don’t forget those lessons you’ve learned.
-Alona Marzan
December 31, 2011. While I was waiting for the clock to strike 12:00 o’clock midnight, I asked myself:”what shall I improve in myself to make sure my life goes right?” Then, I began flashing back to my past days, where I stood low and felt like I was a loser.
It’s been quite for a long time when I realized that I have not started anything better at all. Why? What have I done?
A little bit worried, I started to plan something more fruitful in my mind. But I couldn’t make or start any because I don’t know what to start and where.
Until, I thought of scanning my things and attitude. For a period of 16 years I almost forgot to be Good Samaritan, an instrument of sharing opinions and thoughts about God; and yet nothing has been achieved to show anything valuable except for the fact that my family lives comfortably.
I’ve been not thrifty, wasting lot of money and that proves me to be year of the Pig. Sometimes, I searched for my better standards.
With this, I firmly made a resolution to be thrifty. It was only then that I came to realize some important points in my life. What if I was unexpectedly gathering news about death and that are my parents? How can I live in this world with my attitude?
I was in the state of self-examination, when the clock struck 12:00 midnight. Its 2012! All alone, I vowed in my head and solemnly prayed. I was very thankful that I was able to survive all life’s odds with great courage and determination through His guidance.
As I ended my prayer, I felt as though I were a new bud sprouting from a seedling-a bud trying to bear more branches which will soon bear more fruits where everyone would want to pick and eat. Indeed, nothing is better than having a happy and righteous life in the eyes of god and men. :-)

The Magic of Christmas

The cold weather, sparkling lights, decorated trees, festive parties, lanterns and the never ending tradition of exchanging gifts are signs that Christmas is here.
There is no place like home during this season- a season when all members of our family come home and enjoy the warmth of being together for the family reunion. The gifts under the Christmas tree the abundant Noche Buena on the dining table, the warmth and togetherness that we feel, make us eager and yearn to go home.
We Filipinos consider food ad one of the best and most fitting symbol for communicating love and sharing. No one would dare to let this season pass without a taste of traditional puto bumbong, bibingka, hot cups of chocolate, a buffet of embutido, galantine, lengua, fruit cakes and candy canes.
The real spirit of Christmas is felt by every Filipinos especially during the days of Simbang Gabi. It can’t be Christmas without these things.
Christmas has always been a special day for the Filipino family. It is a magical season that everyone looks forward to. It is time for realizing dreams and granting wishes.
We students who have trying to help on country’s economy to have greater hopes in our heart convinced that somehow, someday, somewhere... the magic of the yuletide season will make our dreams come true and will crown our fervent prayers and sacrifices. J

YOU CAN!!!

If you can image it, you can achieve it; if you can learn it, you can become it.
-Baby Mendoza
Saying difference means change and that is only one permanent in world.
Everyone deserves to make some changes, a baby, teenager old man; in own selves, community, and everything around us. It’s our own decision in making.
Making that thing confronts us to be leader- to create differences in life. Example, most common problem we faced specially the government is the poverty making people to panic on this shocking problem. Why? Are you not aware of this problem?
Being student of my own school, I wish I could do something for betterment someday or somehow... every second we count it results for a minute hour or even a day. Time to act for the progression, but I’m not forcing everyone to be with my protocol. It is their decision and willingness to help. I’m just an instrument for the change.
If everyone will cooperate for the change, our dreams will be in one and making dear country in endless progress and equality.
As a normal person, I can be a key to help my country. As Dr. Jose Rizal Said:”Ang kabataan ay siyang susi ng Bayan”. Make it true and I know everyone could make some changes. Changes for betterment. You can do it!

Equal Rights, equal Oppurtunities

Equality, one word which means state of being equal, no one in top, no one in down, all are in one level.
In equality, there is always call a leader who leads us for a better way and that is god and we are the follower. Remember, all are created by God with equal rights and opportunities. No matter, if you are intelligent or not, rich or not, beautiful or not, life goes on. The only difference is outlook in life.
But, nowadays... discrimination is occurring everywhere. With this, Discrimination: the difference of treatment on a basis other than individual merit. Mostly, common problem of today’s generation is the unequal treatment of men and women.
Before, only men are allowed to work, do heavy loads and be able to run a place through politics and women will just stay in the house; do household chores and just simply feeling at home with the children. Men and women are treated unequally in regards to military service.
This gender inequality stems from antiquated motions of female weakness and domesticity, which have no legal validity in our society today. Furthermore, limiting women's roles in the military violates women's rights to be full and equal citizens of the United States, with all the privileges, obligations, and duties that carries with it.
Another unequal treatment is for the disables. Those who are blind mute and others who have disabilities, people will look at them then suddenly, they will be so distressed and tell themselves like they are not as normal as other people are and they feel incomplete.
But as we undergo the metamorphosis of life, as the hand of the clock slowly reaching another hour, those things were gone and we are already on the process of change-that is only permanent in world. Change for betterment in life and in equalities of men.
In the eyes of man, we treated as unequal but don’t forget to look upward where we are treated equal.
Everyone has its own rights. These RIGHTS that are used to fight for the things happening to us that are not supposed to ensue. It is expected that people will use it in a proper way because we have the highest level of intelligence among all.
People, let us act for equality!!! Start it in our ownselves.
